Alan Gourley

Alan Gourley, 61, of Little Rock, passed away on May 15, 2015. He was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on July 31, 1953 to Marvin and Shirley Gourley. He worked in the Maintenance Department of North Little Rock Parks and Recreation. Alan was also a Vietnam Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Lee Ann Ward Gourley of Little Rock; sons, Jayme Gourley (Joni) and Zachary Gourley; daughters, Dawn Sawyer and Morgan Gourley, all of Little Rock; sisters, Karen Lance (Jan), Lisa Weatherford (Barry) of Greers Ferry, Linda Fulkerson (Bill), Jan Dillon (Dale) and Cathy Hartley (James) all of Longview, Texas; brothers, David Harmon and Charles Beall, all of Greers Ferry; mother, Shirley Hammett, of Greers Ferry; and three grandchildren, Caleb Gourley, Hayli and Jayci Gourley, all of Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Paul Harmon.

Visitation will be Monday, May 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Tuesday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Michael Deerman, followed by interment with Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, #14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116 or to Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1910 N. Grant St., Suite 1-A, Little Rock, AR 72207.
